After finishing his A-Levels at Stamford School, Luke went on to study Business and Financial Management at Sheffield Hallam University, where he achieved a First Class with Honours degree. This included a placement year at Pirelli Tyres as a planning coordinator for their factory in Carlisle.
Prior to joining Accession in June 2026, Luke spent two years working as the Accounts Coordinator for his family’s care business. During that role, he realised how closely finances impact on every major life decision – from family planning through to retirement, and protecting against the unexpected.
Combining that observation with an interest in how both analysis and judgement impact our financial planning decisions led Luke to pursuing a career in financial services, specifically at Accession where we focus on working closely with farming and rural families, and their businesses, over multiple generations to find the best outcomes, while nurturing relationships that are built on trust and finding bespoke solutions.
Outside of work you can find Luke shooting, sailing, playing and watching rugby – or working on his 1986 Land Rover!
