Our Corporate Social Responsibility
We think it’s important to do business in the right way. For us this means respecting the local environment and the community in which we work in.
Where we can, we try to use local produce and suppliers to ensure we are supporting our local economy. For example, Westock Fairtrade products such as tea and coffee, as we want to ensure the money we spend allows everyone to have a fair deal.
We are keen to support and promote recycled products, and where possible we will look to source paper that is 100% recyclable for items such as business stationery. Our intention is to become a genuine paperless office.
Charity.
We support local and national charities, such as Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire Young Farmers and we also sponsor our local sports clubs, including Oundle Rugby Club and Oundle Cricket Club. Director Emma Wilcock is also a volunteer for farming-based charity Farm Community Network.
Education.
We have also run several financial education sessions for schools and other groups as we believe that financial education is essential yet chronically underprovided. We believe basic financial literacy should be a bare minimum for all.
