Emma is a Chartered Financial Planner, and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society (PFS), providing advice to businesses and individuals in the agricultural sector since 2005. In addition to advising clients, Emma oversees the operations at Accession.
After graduating from Lancaster University with a degree in Finance, Emma went on to spend over 14 years as a Financial Adviser with NFU Mutual, before forming Accession Rural Wealth Management (later to become Accession), alongside her fellow directors in 2018.
Emma is driven by working with families and seeing them grow and prosper to achieve their life ambitions. Emma’s main attributes are her patience and ability to make things easy to understand.
Emma grew up on a dairy and sheep farm in the North-West and has a continuing interest in British agriculture, which she shares with her family. Her passion for the countryside extends to walking and cycling in the Yorkshire Dales when she is visiting her family. Emma has a small flock of sheep, and her favourite time of year is Spring when lambing season is in full swing, and this is shared with her daughter, Rosa.
